Descriptions of Several of the Massage Therapies I Offer:

Swedish Massage is the most widely used type of massage therapy. Massage oil is used on the skin to relieve muscle tensions, and to increase blood and lymphatic circulation. Your job is to relax. Our job is to "knead out the knots"! Stroke away your stress, treat your tension to a vacation!

Neuromuscular therapy is deep tissue massage which uses pressure point therapy to eliminate trigger points and toxicity in pain areas. This enables the tissue to return to normal tonus stopping the pain-tension pattern.

The Healing Benefits
of Therapeutic Massage

MASSAGE is an ancient art of natural healing still practiced for its numerous benefits. Today's techniques are collections from cultures and generations that restore health and vitality because they relieve stress and soothe muscle aches and pains.

You can choose rehabilitation or relaxation massage:

Rehabilitation massage incorporates the ability to identify and remove disharmony in the muscle and soft tissue systems of the body. It has application to headaches, neck, shoulder and low back pain, etc. We accomplish this by the use of therapeutic techniques such as trigger point neuromuscular re-education, Myopractic, and by removing myofacial restrictions.

Relaxation massage is an effective method of reducing stress. It calms the nervous system, lowers blood pressure and leaves one with an increased sense of well-being.

Massage helps regulate body rhythms by balancing metabolism and improving blood and lymphatic circulation. It increases the body's overall energy flow. And as an added benefit, massage also improves your self-image. You will discover more internal harmony and self-satisfaction which will enhance your daily life. You'll look better and feel more relaxed.

Therapeutic Massage is an innovative approach to health and well-being through pain management, stress reduction, and body awareness. Our lifestyles reflect our philosophy of one taking a personal responsibility in one's own health care and well being.
